Welcome to Forge the Team (“FTT”, “we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Forge the Team mobile application, website, and any related features or services (collectively, the “Platform”).

Forge the Team is a free-to-use social media platform designed primarily for use in the United Kingdom, enabling users to connect, share video content, and build professional networks. By creating an account or using the Platform in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Platform.

To register and use the Platform you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• Not be prohibited from using the Platform under any applicable law
• Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date registration information

By registering, you confirm that you meet all of these requirements. If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organisation, you also confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.

Forge the Team is a social media platform that allows users to create profiles, post short video pitches, follow other members, comment, send messages, and interact with content. It is designed to connect founders, entrepreneurs, investors, operators, and advisors.

The Platform is free to use. We do not currently charge for access, membership, or any core features. We reserve the right to introduce optional paid features in the future, in which case we will update these Terms and notify you in advance.

When using the Platform you agree not to:

• Misrepresent your identity, credentials, or professional background
• Harass, threaten, bully, or abuse any other user
• Post content that is defamatory, fraudulent, obscene, hateful, or unlawful
• Spam other users with unsolicited messages or promotional content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the Platform’s systems
• Use automated bots, scripts, or tools to access or interact with the Platform
• Share your login credentials with or allow access to your account by any third party

We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate any account that we determine, at our sole discretion, violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to the Platform or its community.

You retain ownership of all content you post on the Platform, including videos, profile information, comments, and messages (“User Content”). By posting User Content, you grant Forge the Team a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Platform.

You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to post your User Content
• Your User Content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
• Your User Content does not violate any applicable law or these Terms
• Your User Content is not misleading, defamatory, or harmful to others

We do not endorse or verify User Content and are not responsible for anything posted by other users. You interact with other users and their content at your own risk.

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Platform — including its design, software, code, algorithms, branding, and all content created by Forge the Team — are and will remain the exclusive property of Forge the Team Ltd. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use the Forge the Team name, logo, or trademarks without our prior written consent.

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.

Forge the Team is a social networking platform. Nothing on the Platform constitutes financial, legal, investment, or professional advice of any kind. Any connections made or information shared via the Platform are between users directly and we accept no responsibility for the outcome of those interactions.

We do not verify the identity, credentials, or claims made by any user. You are responsible for carrying out your own due diligence before entering into any agreement or transaction with another user.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Forge the Team and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damage to reputation.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if your use poses a risk to other users or to the Platform.

You may delete your account at any time via the in-app settings. Upon termination, your licence to use the Platform will cease immediately. Clauses relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law will survive termination.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer resident in Northern Ireland or Scotland, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your home nation.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via an in-app notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically so you are always aware of the current version.
